Isoko North Council Vice Chair, Ozue Donates Bags Of Rice To Ward
The Vice Chairman, Isoko-North Council, Chief Frank Esiwo Ozue on Tuesday donated 15bags of rice to his people of Oghenerurie Iyede Ward 1 as a support to them in the celebration of Christmas.
Ozue in his brief remark during the presentation of the bags of rice to the President-General of Oghenerurie Community on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 appreciated the people for their enormous support and goodwill to him, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, the Isoko North Local Government Administration of Hon Christian Iteire and the Delta State Government headed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to him, the gesture of giving out rice to his people which has been a sustained one, was aimed at ensuring his people celebrate the Christmas with ease.
Stating that, the season of Christmas was simply a season of love and sharing particularly with the less privileged and also a show of love, the Isoko North Council Vice Chairman urged the people to use the period to pray for peace in the country.
While assuring his people of more assistance, Chief Ozue appealed for continuous support and prayers of the people for him, the Council Chairman and Delta State Government in order for him to attract more projects and programmes.
In his response, the President General, Mr Agbroko Awhanre who spoke on behalf of the people of the four quarters namely Etevie, Uduerha, Umiagwa and Eneru expresses gratitude to the Isoko North Council Vice Chairman for the bags of rice he gave to them, and assured of the continuous goodwill and support of the people. He said, the rice would be equitably shared amongst the four quarters and of the community.
