It’s Time To Liberate Nigeria From APC -PDP Ex-Councillors Forum Tells NEC
The National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party Ex-councillors Forum has congratulated the newly sworn-in Senator Iyorchia Ayu-led National Executive Council (NEC) Party and tasked it to leave no stone unturned in liberating Nigerians from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The support group comprises of all Ex-Councillors elected under the umbrella of PDP since its inception, has its members across the 36 States, the 774 Local Government Areas and the 8,809 Wards of the country including Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The group in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ojosu Sunday in Ado Ekiti on behalf of its National Coordinator, Chief (Hon) Prince Weli-Wosu said the mantra “Let’s Rescue Nigeria Together Again” should be the fulcrum and guiding light of members of the NEC and Party members of the in the country.
Chief Weli-Wosu tasked the Party leadership to be open to receive constructive advice, criticism with a view to changing the narrative and ensure the victory of the Party in the 2023 general elections.
The Rivers State – born politician and philantropist also prayed God to grant the Senator Ayu-led Executive the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the Party to an expected end for the betterment of the average Nigerian.
He said the Party leadership could always count and leverage on its support as one of the largest and widely spread support groups in the Party in its tasks of rescuing Nigeria from the APC.
