Media Workshop For Community Newspapers Publishers: Oji Donatus Commends Jonathan Onwuka
Says Community Journalism, Instrument Of Good Neighbourliness, Unity
Comrade Oji Favour Donatus, the publisher of NDOKWA NEWS STAND has commended the pragmatic Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Newspapers, Hon Jonathan Onwuka for puting up a resourceful and impactful media workshop for community Newspapers publishers, in a bid to sharpen and broaden the intellectualism of journalists and publishers in the media industry.
The workshop on Wednesday with renowned and seasoned resource persons including, Professor Ben Nwanne, former Head of Department, Mass Communication, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Dr Oji Majority, Mr Pius Mordi and other media stakeholders who spoke at the workshop greatly impacted the participants.
The workshop which was centered on “NEXUS for Democratic Development in Nigeria, was declared open by the Delta State Commissioner for Information, Hon Aniagwu Charles.

Comrade Oji applauded Governor Okowa for giving the media industry a level playing ground and being a friendly Governor as the number one citizen of Delta State.
He admonished the community newspapers publishers to be steadfast and result oriented, stating that it takes integrity, consistency to excel in the business as publishers.
He added: “As they say, knowledge is power; participants have been furnished with new skills and knowledge acquired today at the workshop.”
