2023: Abraye Calls On Deltans To Prioritise Integrity, Antecedents, Credibility Of Candidates, Says Delta In Need Of Selfless Leaders
A foremost Niger Delta youth leader and journalist, Engr. Freeborn Ebimaye Abraye, has called on Deltans to prioritise the integrity, antecedents and credibility of every candidate vying for the office of the Governor of the State before throwing weight behind them, come 2023.
The Delta based youth leader made the call via a press release signed by him and made available to newsmen in the early hours of today, 18th January, 2022, where he called on Deltans to demonstrate the act of true patriotism to the state by making the right decision in the bid to choose the next Governor of the State.
Engr. Abraye in the release, warned that, choosing a candidate based on sentiments, personal relation and political affiliation, will be tantamount to incurring on the State unimaginable hardship and suffering.
The Press Release:
“As the 2023 Governorship elections draw nearer, I want to call on Deltans to choose their choice candidates with outmost care. As choosing the wrong candidate, will be tantamount to incurring unimaginable hardship and suffering on the State”.

“Our dear State at this delicate times, needs a candidate that can foster economic productivity and sustainable development”.
“A candidate that will prioritise the collective prosperity and interest of all Deltans above party or personal interest”.
“A candidate that has a clear blueprint on how to implement people friendly policies, that will transform Delta State into becoming an economic hub. With adequate attention on Jobs Creation, Youth and Women Empowerment”.
“It is on this premise, I am humbly appealing to all Deltans, to be most conscious of our choice of Candidate. As we will be the ones to suffer the nemesis, should we choose a candidate based on Sentiment, Personal Relation and Political Affiliation. And not on integrity, antecedents and credibility”.
