2023: Delta PDP Will Win Governorship Election, Produce Next Governor, Says Agofure
Hon. Onoriode Agofure, Deputy Leader, Ughelli North Legislative Arm, Ughelli North Local Government Area, has said the Peoples Democratic Party PDP will still win the governorship election and produce next Governor of Delta state come 2023.
Agofure, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Agbarho kingdom, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, in an interview with newsmen, on Saturday, at the PDP Mega Rally held at Cenotaph, Asaba, noted that the PDP in Delta state remains strong, formidable, united and rooted in every political units across the state.
The youthful philanthropist, also expressed confidence that whoever emerges the PDP governorship candidate at the primary will win the general election, adding that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s performance and achievements had already won the 2023 governorship election for PDP.

Agofure, who is said to be eyeing Delta State House of Assembly to represent Ughelli North Constituency 11, come 2023, said he is willing and determined to offer quality, purposeful, accountable and effective representation to the people of Ughelli North constituency 2 at the Delta State House Assembly.
He however, urged youths in the state to get involved in politics and vie for elective offices, while also appealing to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and leadership of PDP in the state to consider more youths for elective positions in 2023.
Agofure further expressed optimism that the PDP will produce a Governorship candidate at the primary that will be sellable and acceptable to party leaders, faithfuls and Deltans, noting that it is the wish and desire of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to handover to a successor that will ensure continuity and consolidate on achievements made.
