AFCON 2022: Egypt’s Victory Over Morocco Confirms Super Eagles’ Toughness

The Pharaohs of Egypt overcame stiff opposition from their Moroccan counterpart in a quarter finals clash that further confirmed the toughness of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Super Eagles is the only national team that have been able to defeat the Mohamed Salah-led Egyptian side so far and this was achieved with the first game at the group stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
While the Super Eagles won all its group matches with victories over Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau, Egypt could only triumph over Sudan and Guinea-Bissau as it lost its first game to the Super Eagles with a lone goal scored by Kelechi Iheanacho.

Having qualified for the semifinals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, it is left to be seen which team aside the Super Eagles can overcome the Mohamed Salah-led Egyptian side.
