Imonina Sylvester Resigned As Member, Not Publicity Secretary, Was An Errand Boy For Jones —APC

By Daniel Dafe
The faction of the All Progressives Congress APC in Delta State not loyal to the Deputy Senate President, Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege, has said that the purported resignation of the State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Imonina Sylvester, is fake news, adding that he was never the spokesman of the party in.the state.
A statement on Thursday signed by Felix Ogbotor Okpako, Publicity Secretary, APC, Delta, called on the general public to disregard the reports, adding that Barr. Imonina “was never the publicity secretary of the APC in Delta State as he was just a mere media aide to the outgoing State chairman, Mr.Jones Ode.”
“Barr. Imonina Sylvester resigned as a member of our great party because his pay master could no longer attend to his financial demand, hence his resignation.

“He was amongst the few persons that were working to destroy our party, I think his time has expired as an errant boy and aide to Mr Jones.
“We advise the opposition party and general public to be very wary and mindful of this imposter, Barr. Imonina Sylvester,” the statement added.
According to the statememt, “Barr. Imonina Sylvester was a former member of our great party but lacks political and social integrity.”
Adding: “He was just trying to use the publicity secretary office to add value and evaluation to his political carrier.
“We wish you what you wish yourself,” the statement said.
