The End Of The Cubana Empire Is Near
Billionaire business tycoon and socialite, Obi Cubana is making headlines once again. This time, the 46 years old self acclaimed money spinner was recently grilled by EFCC operatives for several hours over funds remitted to his bank accounts by drug lords in India, Malaysia and Nigeria.
It will be recalled that some of Obi Cubana’s fans and admirers took a swipe at me late last year for daring to say that his source of staggering wealth was questionable. Let me state it clearly once again that investing ill gotten money on real estate and hotel business does not deflate the fact that such investor must be prosecuted for financial crimes.
A criminal is a criminal and investing crime money wisely will never portray any criminal to be a clean person, the Law must apply and properties including cash MUST be forfeited to government after prosecutors must have proved their case beyond reasonable doubt.

I said in my piece late last year that the kind of Naira and Dollars abuses recorded during Cubana Mother’s burial will for real open the floodgate of forensic investigations into his stupendous wealth. Here we are with the first salvo; alleged illicit drug money in his bank account. Hmmmm!
Mark my words, this is just the beginning, more revelations about Obi Cubana’s wealth will keep unfolding in batches for years to come and he may soon disappear from the radar of the geographical entity called Nigeria, for safety reasons and to frustrate further investigations.
The end of the Cubana empire is at sight, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
What an old man may figure out while gazing at the heavenly, a young man may not see it while standing on top of an Iroko tree.
