2023: Augoye Was Right To Reject the DC-23 Final Report, Says Eyube
Hon. Kennedy Eyube, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta state, has insisted that Chief James Augoye, was right to have rejected the DC-23 Screening Committee Final Repor.
Eyube, Senior Special Assistant SSA on Mobilization to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, in a interview with journalists on Monday, in Warri, appreciated Deltans for supporting and having confidence in Chief James Augoye.
He said, ”Chief James Augoye’s governorship ambition is divine and will be made a reality come 29th May, 2023, by the good people of Delta state. It is solely the decision and rights of the PDP delegates to choice or elect the flagbearer of the party, therefore, the purported DC-23 Screening Committee final report is immaterial”.

Eyube pointed that Chief James Augoye, is contesting the governorship on the platform of the PDP, adding that his ( Augoye) rejection of the DC-23 final report is commendable and supported by Augoye’s supporters across the state.
According to Eyube, ” if political parties and candidates who subscribes to INEC’s guidelines can still rejects elections conducted by same INEC. Then, Chief James Augoye is right to reject a non registered DC-23 Screening Committee final report”.
He continued ” His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who is the leader of PDP in Delta state has promised all aspirants a free, fair and transparent primaries, hence Augoye is very determined to participate in the PDP governorship primary.
