Delta 2023: Onyeme, Tilije Fight Naughty Over Deputy Governor’s Position
ZION Nationale reports that the Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue (DBIR), Sir Monday Onyeme and Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Fidelis Tilije are currently fighting themselves over the position of deputy governor of the State, come 2023.
It was learnt that both politicians from the Ndokwa axis are seriously fighting naughty over the aforementioned seat.
It was alleged that since the political squabbles between both politicians began, they have not being in talking terms.
The quarrel according to sources, if not carefully handled may lead to a political disaster in Ndokwa nation.
Observers sai it is unfortunate, saying that this is a dance of shame in the political power system of the state where those in authority of the State, who are supposed to be representing the interest of the people are fighting for their selfish interest.

They added that most importantly, both political actors should realize that politics is a game of numbers not a do or die affair and should be played on a level playing ground.
Efforts have been made by some of the bigwigs of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to caution them on the need to embrace peace ahead of the 2023 general election but to no avail.
Despite the two politicians are tribalistic in their ways of doing things, the Odozani 1 of Ibabu Kingdom , Monday Onyeme seems to be a preferable choice of the people of Ndokwa nation based on his philanthropist gesture.
Meanwhile, Tilije is making every available means to see that he is the anointed candidate for the position of Deputy Governor of the state.
