Fejiro Oliver: “On The Altar Of Ibori’s Suicide Threat Obuh Was Sacrificed,” Says Edevbie Played Spoiler For Okowa To Emerge In 2014

Publisher of Secret Reporters, Fejiro Oliver is again out with shocking details on how Governor Ifeanyi Okowa emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2014 primaries prior to the 2015 governorship elections.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the investigative journalist revealed that it was on the altar of former Governor James Ibori’s suicide threat that Uduaghan dumped Anthony Obuh and opted for David Edevbie who was to play the spoiler (unknown to him) for Okowa to emerge.

According to him, these are secrets that Ibori, Okowa and Udughan would not want out, but he has decided to spill the secrets to set records straight.

Recall that reports say Ibori is bent on seeing that Edevbie emerges as PDP’s guber candidate for the 2023 elections in the state, a move key npolitical players in the state believe Okowa is opposed to for obvious reasons.

Fejiro in his post added: “Today Ibori seeks same again, from the very man he was ready to shed his blood for,” saying that Okowa will not yield unlike Uduaghan.

In the said post, he posited that Urhobos will weep signifying a betrayal of the ethnic group’s interest, but went on to state that an Urhobo indigene will be elected, saying that “no man can play God” which likely refers to Okowa who has since said he is seeking the face of God to know who is successor is.

This statement credited to the governor has made many conclude that Okowa has sent signals that he will solely determine who he hands over to not minding the say of others.
