2023: Orogun APC Youth Forum Drums Support For DSP Omo-Agege

Ahead of 2023 General Elections, a group known as Orogun APC Youth Forum has canvassed support for the Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator (Barr), Ovie Omo-Agege over his Governorship ambition.

The Orogun APC youth forum called for this support in thier enlarged meeting held at Aragba Guest House Orogun in Orogun kingdom, Ughelli North LGA, Delta, recently.

However, while addressing newsmen at the end of the meeting which was described as a welcome development, the convener of the meeting Mr. Onodjae Eguono Pius who is one. of the Legislative Assistant to the Honourable member representing Ughelli North Constituency 1 in DTHA, hinted that, “This is an APC forum. The youth body, we are here today to brainstorm and to cavanse support for our able leader, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s ambition, come 2023, and not in only Orogun kingdom in Ughelli North LGA, but to other LGA, across the State.”

Speaking further, Mr. Eguono Onodjae Pius called on the members of the youth forum to get their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC), which according to him is the only way to retain Omo-Agege and other APC candidates into power, come 2023.

He said, “there is no way you can talk politics without you having PVC, adding that the PVC is the means to vote out bad government and as well vote in good government,” Mr. Onodjae Eguono Pius stated.

The convener, also posited that the Orogun APC Youth forum has already mapped out the strategy to ensure that the youth of the forum and others across the State get their PVC and as well to ensure that those that have not been registered should be registered, noting that the APC Youth forum is solidly on ground to work for all APC candidates, especially DSP Ovie Omo-Agege, come 2023.

Mr. Eguono Pius Onodjae however, used this medium to call on the people of Orogun kingdom and others to continue support of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, adding that, DSP Agege has done well in the area of education, human capital development, empowerment of the youth and others and if given the mandate come 2023 he will do more to better the lives of Deltans.

However, Mr. Makaiva Obruche, Comrade Oghene Sylvester Nkwo (Senior legislative Aide to DSP,) Dr. Bennis Agbonifo, Comrade Benjamin’e Okeoghene and other members of the Forum who also spoke in same vein to the journalists after the meeting, described the Orogun APC Youth meeting as a welcome development.

According to them, “Senator Ovie Agege, has been a good man; he is the man of the people and for the people; the few years he has been in the senate he has performed very well, and if given the mandate come 2023, he will transform Delta State,” noting that the forum was formex to actually work for his ambition come 2023.

However, Mr. Makaiva Obruche, Comrade Sylvester Nkwo, Dr. Bennis Agbonifo and Comrade Benjamine Okeoghene during their speech called on the people of Orogun to continue to support APC, adding that APC is the only political party were dividends of democracy could be guaranteed.

Adding that the meeting of the Orogun APC Youth forum to support senator Ovie Omo-Agege ambition come 2023 continues.
