Ex Governor Uduaghan Concedes Senatorial Ambition To Ejele

Former Governor of Delta state, Dr, Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has, at last given up on his senatorial ambition giving his nod to his close political ally, Honourable Michael Diden towards the struggles for the coveted seat at the upper chamber of National Assembly.
Recounting the cultural and administrative bond between Michael Diden and himself while serving as number one citizen of Delta state,
Dr, Uduaghan, who contested and lost the PDP primary ticket for the senatorial election twice in 2015 and 2019 stated that Ejele was kept in the reserve seat twice on his (Ejele’s) obedience.
His third attempt has led to proper scrutiny of emerging aspirants resulting to the choice of Ejele by stakeholders and the electorate of Ijaw, Isoko and Urhobos in Delta South to represent them at the Senate.
Representatives of Ijaw and Isoko and Urhobos in Delta South Senatorial District in large attendance at the declaration of intention/ consultation visit of the DESOPADEC Chairman to the ex Governor at his Koko home, Warri North pledged their communities support for Honourable Diden’s bid.
Ijaw representative, Mr Sony Zorro pointed out that Michael Diden is a highly rated politician with vast experience in the game, especially reaching out to members of his constituency, adding it is not grammar that makes leadership but the ability to carry the people along and constantly listening to their yearnings.

Delta North have spoken after rigorous assessment of the aspirants and came to the conclusion of the choice of Ejele as its Senator come 2023.
Ijaws team, earlier stated consulting with its national leader Chief Edwin Clark. who agreed with the Isoko, as they explained it is Itsekiri turn at the Senate with Ejele chosen as the best for 2023 election.
Dr Uduaghan had earlier advised Ejele to be wary of political prostitutes, stressing that election needs honest and faithful electorates as he showered praises on Ejele for his hard work during the Governor’s election in ,2007 and 2011.
Ejele had worked with me as Council Chairman and Senior Special Adviser and continues to add value to the party in the state.
Brimming with enthusiasm, the senatorial aspirant, expressed gratitude to the representatives from the senatorial district for his acceptance as their future senator.
Ejele promised the district, every dividend of democracy that may accrue to the coastal dwellers of Warri North and influence government presence if he wins at the state primary and nationwide election.
