Fufeyin: Police Inspector Quizzed For Alleged Disappearance Of Pastor Johnmark Ighosoto

Police in Abuja, have quizzed an Inspector of Police attached to the Mobile Police force (MOPOL) 50 Kubwa, Abuja, Mr. Aminu Abrahim for allegedly masterminding the escape of one Pastor Johnmark Ighosoto, said to be the General Overseer of God’s Delight Gospel Assembly, Warri in Delta State.

Sources said Pastor Ighosotu disappeared under mysterious circumstances to the bewilderment of the police force headquarters, Abuja.

Consequently, they immediately commenced a full scale investigation into the matter.

Police sources said the Pastor is wanted for allegations ranging from conspiracy, cybercrime to criminal defamation through a viral video trending on social media.

Inspector Abrahim, who was a security detail to Pastor Johnmark Ighosotu was said to have prevented the police team assigned to the case to effect his arrest and prosecution.

The Guardian learnt that the team had barely arrived at the general overseer’s home, when the inspector immediately alerted the ‘man of God’, who, sensing danger, sneaked out of the house through the back door.

“All efforts to track down the fleeing suspect have not yielded any positive results. So, the inspector has a case to answer, hence the force headquarters ordered his arrest because of the alleged role he played in the escape of the general overseer,” the source added.

It could be recalled that during a live confession recently, one Bishop Ufuoma said he was the one helping Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin to carry out ritual killings for spiritual purposes, stage fake miracles as well as carrying other vices

As the confession video went viral, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin approached the headquarters of the Nigerian Police Force and filed a petition against Bishop Ufuoma and Pastor JOHNMARK so they can prove/defend their allegations because the said viral video has started tarnishing his image.

The police on the other hand were said to have written a letter of invitation to Bishop Ufuoma and Johnmark, so the duo can prove beyond reasonable doubt their allegations, but they never honoured the invitation of the police.

When contacted, spokesperson for Delta State Police command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bright Edafe, said he has not been briefed, but the Divisional Police officer (DPO) in-charge of Owian police, Superintendent of Police (SP), Samuel Yohana, who confirmed the incident, said: “ The matter is from Abuja, though I was away from the station, when I came back, I was told about the case.

“So, Abuja only came on investigations, when they said the mobile police officer, Aminu Abrahim was trying to hide the pastor, but I don’t know the whereabouts of the pastor now.”

Sources said the police force is currently preparing to declare Pastor Ighosotu wanted in the next 48 hours, should he fail to appear at the police station.
