Oghenetega Weds Solomon In Grandstyle

It was the gathering of the who and who in Delta State and beyond at Chief Engineer Okoro Martin’s compound in Eku, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State recently as Okoro Oghenetega Nancy got wedded to Ogunsola Solomon Olawale.
Speaking at the occasion, the father of the bride, Chief Engineer Okoro Martins said he was very happy to see his daughter get married, saying it is the Lord’s doing.
He said, when a father gives birth to a girl child, it is good to train up the child in a godly way and when she is of age, it is a thing of joy to see such a child get married.
He added: “l am very happy that my daughter is getting married today. When you give birth to a child and you bring her up in the fear and admonition of the Lord and see such a child get married, it is a thing of joy.”
Chief Engineer Okoro Martins therefore advised the couple to build up their marriage and not to destroy it, adding, no marriage is devoid of challenges saying, the ability to cope makes all the difference.
He said: “No marriage is devoid of challenges; the important things are patience, tolerance, respect for each other, true love, trust and above all, live in fear of the Lord.”

On her part, the mother of the Bride, Omoyibo Christana expressed gratitude to God Almighty who has made it possible for her daughter to get married. She therefore advised the couple to love each other as the institution of marriage, though not easy, but God would make theirs very pleasurable just as she prayed God to protect, bless, and give them all that makes marriage enjoyable.
“I am overwhelmed with joy to see my daughter get married today and I pray God to protect
and give them a fulfilled marriage life in Jesus name,” she said.
Also speaking is S. Ajayi who represented the groom’s father.
He expressed joy for their son, Solomon to have gotten married to a beautiful woman.
He charged them to respect, tolerate and love each other, saying above all, the fear of God should rule their life.
He said: “While l wish them God’s blessings and protection in their union, they should learn to tolerate each other and above all, have the fear of God.”

Rt.Rv.Otonye Diababi (JP) of African Church, Agbarho Diocese.
He expressed thanks to God for the marriage and prayed God to lead them aright while in the marriage.
Earlier, the couple, Mr and Mrs Oghenetega Ogunsola expressed thanks to God for their successful marriage just as they promised to live in love, unity and always anchor on God for whatever they would do.
While thanking their parents for both financial and moral support, they promised to tolerate and respect each other in all their endeavours.
They said: “We thank God that today we are married and we pray God to guide and direct us aright in whatever we do.”
They also thanked those who were able to attend the ceremony despite their busy schedule and therefore wished them God’s blessings and safe journey to their various homes.
The highlights of the ceremony which Church’s wedding was done in Dunamis International Church, Mosheshe Estate along Airport Road Warri, was the cutting of the cake, Christian songs raised by the grandmother of the bride, Evangelist (Mrs) Dinah Okpos and danced by the invitees to the glory of God.
