The Police will today at the Yaba Magistrates’ Court, Yaba arraign a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) driver, Mr. Andrew Nice, for alleged involvement in the death of his passenger, Oluwabamise Ayanwole.

Ayanwole, 22, was found dead last Monday on Carter Bridge, Lagos Island — nine days after she was declared missing after she boarded Nice’s vehicle.

Her family’s lawyer, Mr. Ayo Ademiluyi, told Realible sources that the arraignment will hold at noon.

“The BRT driver that was arrested in connection with the murder of the late Bamise Ayanwole comes up today at Yaba Magistrate Court,” Ademiluyi said.

Ayanwola got missing while returning to Ota from Ajah on Saturday, February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7pm at Chevron Bus-Stop.

It was gathered that the victim worked as a fashion designer at Chevron Estate, Ajah and spent weekends at Ota, Ogun State, with her sister.
