Delta 2023: Adjogbe Visits Agbarha Ward APC Leaders, Members, Solicits Support

As party primary elections gather momentum with visitations to party leaders and consultations with different political support groups across constituencies, senatorial districts and the entire state by different aspirants, a vibrant and prominent APC aspirant from Evwreni town, Hon. Fidelis O. Adjogbe, contesting for the Ughelli North Constituency 1 in the Delta state House of Assembly recently paid solidarity visit to the members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agbarha Ward in Ughelli North LGA of Delta state with a call to support his political ambition of representing them in the Delta state House of Assembly. come 2023.

Speaking to multitudes of APC members during the visit which took place in the residence of the chairman of the party in the electoral ward, Chief Amb. David Ohwoekevwo, JP, the House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Fidelis O. Adjogbe solicited for their support and votes during the election and also promised to attract dividends of democracy to the entire constituency based on fairness and even distribution.

“As we already know, so many people have represented this our constituency in the Delta state House of Assembly without tangible results to show for it. This is why I take the bold step to contest the seat this time around. Therefore, I’m soliciting for your support and also for your votes during the election. My party men and women, you won’t regret casting your votes for me. This is because I’m ready to show my stewardship to you by distributing evenly and fairly our constituency projects round all the wards or communities in the constituency. This is not just ordinary promises as many have done before now, but I want you to take me by my words. I don’t speak out my words and later eat them. I plead with you to use this opportunity and chance to try my promises whether I will faithfully keep to them.”

The popular aspirant who is a younger brother to Chief Dr. Engr. Samuel Adjogbe, an immediate past Executive Director on Projects, NDDC also promised all APC members present in the visit that he would sponsor bills for the Delta state government to recognize local vigilante groups in different communities in order to place them on salaries and also a bill to establish old people’s homes and police stations in the constituency.

Responding to his presentation, the chairman of the ward, Chief Amb. David Ohwoekevwo, JP commended Hon. Adjogbe for paying the visit to them with such multitudes of people. He however urged all APC members in the ward to support him especially the party executive members during the coming party primaries in order for him to secure the ticket as the constituency candidate.

Meanwhile, Hon. Fidelis O. Adjogbe and his entourage again visited a highly respected APC leader in the state, Chief Sir Godwin Ohwoekevwo in his Agbarha-Otor residence, seeking for prayers and support.

In his address, Hon. Adjogbe described Chief Sir Ohwoekevwo as a political father and mentor to look upon in such situations.

He pleaded with him and the Emerhor Political Forum (EPF), Agbarha chapter to work for him in the 2023 general elections.

Responding, the APC national leader, Chief Sir Ohwoekevwo who was in company of some members of the EPF and other political associates to receive the APC aspirant during the visit, prayed for Hon. Fidelis O. Adjogbe to win the constituency seat come 2023.

The elder stateman also advised the House of Assembly aspirant to always emulate the leadership and administrative style of his elder brother, Chief Engr. Adjogbe when he was the Executive Director of Projects in NDDC as everybody and all communities in Delta state felt the impacts of his administration.

Among those that accompanied Hon. Fidelis O. Adjogbe on the visit were Prince Matthew Uba, Chief Ukpebitere, Olorogun Ighariemu, Mr. Moses Aki, Hon. Marcus Uba, Hon. Desmond Okpako, Hon. Friday Diamond, women, youths and different political support groups.
