Ibori Didn’t Walk Out Of PDP Stakeholders’ Meeting, He Left To Catch A Flight —Okowa Aide

Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Special Duties, Ossai Ovie Success, has debunked reports that said former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori angrily walked out of the PDP stakeholders meeting in Asaba on Tuesday.

In a statememt on Tuesday night, Success added that “the report of Chief James Ibori walking out of PDP stakeholders meeting at Asaba is outrageous and mischievous.”

“Why do people enjoy whispering and spreading false speculation? Why do people believe all kinds of news? Why don’t they think and carry out verification?” he asked.

“Assuming Ibori and Uduaghan didn’t make it to the meeting, you would still carry all sorts of falsehood.

“Assuming they came late to the meeting, it would have been another story.

“I guess it’s hurting to hear and see that our former Governors Chief James Ibori,Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa were all together at the PDP stakeholders meeting today in Asaba.”

According to him, there are no issues between Governor Okowa, Chief James Ibori and Dr Uduaghan.

“For proper clarification, Chief James Ibori never walked out of the PDP stakeholders.

“You have your aspirants who attended the meeting, you can put a call or text to them for confirmation.

“In case you don’t know , Chief Ibori spoke during the meeting and he commended the Delta State Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa for keeping the party strong.

“After speaking and listening to stakeholders, Ibori then took permission while apologizing to Governor Okowa and other PDP stakeholders before leaving for an emergency engagement,” the aide said.

Continuing, he said that “the PDP family is more untied and more stronger than you can think of.”

“Unlike the APC in Delta State, PDP is not divided and there is no power tussle.

“Please stop the spread of fabrication,” he added.
