NURTW Pledges Continuous Support For Delta State Government’s Peace Building Initiative

The newly sworn in Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Delta State Council, Chief (Comr.) Francis Arhiyor, JP has reinstated the Union’s commitment to continuously collaborate with relevant agencies of the Delta State Government in ensuring peace, unity, orderliness and safety of lives and property in their operations.
Arhiyor made the pledge on behalf of the over 50 branches of the Union, yesterday, Wednesday, 13th April, 2022 at the swearing-in ceremony of the Delta State NURTW Executive Committee in Asaba.

Arhiyor specially thanked the Delta State Governor, Sen (Dr) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on his fatherly role in resolving the leadership issues and ensuring that peace returned to the Union.
Arhiyor requested Gov Okowa to graciously allocate a parcel of land in Asaba to enable the Union build a modern secretariat.
Arhiyor also thanked the Chairman, DESOPADEC, Hon (Evang) Michael Diden alias Ejele; NURTW National Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Ibukunle Baruwa and the Urhobo Youth Leaders’ Association, UYLA.
