Okowa Presents Staff Of Office To Odiologbo Of Onogbokor Kingdom
The Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa says his administration has remained consistent in the inclusion of traditional rulers in governance as part of deliberate efforts to promote peace and harmonious coexistence geared towards the overall development of the state.
Governor Okowa stated this during the presentation of staff of office to Isaac Onomeyare Ajawobu, Uloho the second as the Odiologbo of Onogbokor Kingdom in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
The Governor represented by his Deputy noted that the background, experience, training and exposure of traditional rulers have no doubt contributed to keeping peace in the state.
The Deputy Governor thanked traditional rulers for their remarkable support and cooperation to his administration noting that it is statutory for the state government to present staff of office to traditional rulers after due concession by the people.
Otuaro said the presentation of staff of office accords traditional rulers official recognition by government and congratulated Isaac Onomeyare Ajawobu, Uloho the second as the Odiologbo of Onogbokor Kingdom.
The State number two man thanked the people of Onogbokor Kingdom for their support to the state government and promised that their requests for the construction of Onogbokor road to link other communities, provision of pipe borne water, renovation of Ughe Primary School and the community Health Centre would be channeled to the appropriate agencies of government for necessary action.

He called on sons and daughters of Onogbokor Kingdom to take advantage of the various programmes of the government to increase their crop and fish production capacities, particularly the Delta State Small and Medium Enterprise Scheme as well as form Cooperative societies that will enable them access credit and loans
The President General of Onogbokor community, Pastor Okole Ifoghale thanked the state government for the presentation of staff of office to the monarch saying the kingdom is very happy.
He thanked the state government for taking into consideration the construction of Onogbokor road, renovation of the Health centre and Uloto Ughe Primary School as well as provision of pipe borne water.
Pastor Ifoghale urged sons and daughters of the kingdom to support the Odiologbo in order to ensure peace and development in the area.
