BREAKING: Omonade Stops Oniyere’s 2nd Term DTHA Ambition, Clinches APC Ticket In Ughelli North

Barr. Matthew Omonade, Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Omo-Agege, has defeated Hon. Charles Oniyere and other aspirants to clinch the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ughelli North Constituency 1.
Oniyere is the present lawmaker representing the area in the DTHA.

Barr. Omonade got 14 votes, while Oniyere garnered 8 votes.
The election originally scheduled for 8a.m. which did not commence till 8p.m. held at the Ibru College, Agbarha.
A worried Oniyere was seen waiting at Agbarha Town Hall, Agbarha-Otor (the initial venue) from 9a.m. till the election started at 8p.m. that was later held at the said venue.
