BREAKING! Rerun: Ibori’s Daughter Clinches Ethiope Federal Constituency PDP Ticket

Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, daughter to former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope Federal Constituency for the 2023 elections.
Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu polled 46 votes to defeat Ben Igbakpa, the incumbent lawmaker during the rerun election on Tuesday.

Igbakpa got a total of 22 votes according to results announced.
Recall that at the primaries on Sunday, they both garnered 34 votes each and a rerun was ordered by the party to determine the party’s flag bearer.
