2022 AAC/DFA Cup: We Shall Come Out With An Official Statement Soon. Ken Nwaomucha

Chairman of the Delta State Football Association, Kenneth Nwaomucha has stated that the DFA will release an official statement following the controversial conclusion of the Sporting Fc and Warri wolves 1-1 quarter final fixtures on Tuesday .
Against the statement making the rounds by the DFA secretary, Mr. Azuka Ogosi, that the match will be rescheduled and to be played at the Stephen Keshi staduim Asaba on Thursday, the chairman refuted the claim and said the DFA organising committee will officially come out with a statement as the FA Cup has laid down rules to handle situation.
“We are aware of the situation between Warri wolves and Sporting Fc quarter final game
“The DFA is an independent body that has the ability to inject the rules guiding every competition which will be release soon,” he said.
However, it was reported that the game ended 1-1 after a regulation time before Warri wolves wrote a protest that they are not comfortable with the match officiating and the unruliness of the fans of their opponent.
