BREAKING: Tinubu Emerges APC Presidential Candidate With 1,271 Votes, As Amaechi Polls 316, Osinbajo Gets 235

Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general elections.
Results announced at the Eagles Square, Abuja, on Wednesday, during the party’s presidential primary saw him get a total of 1,271 votes.
Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi came second with 316 votes, while Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo garnered 235 votes to come third.

A total of 14 aspirants contested.

Meanwhile, former Minister of Education, Emeka Nwajuiba was absent at the APC Presidential Convention, but results announced said he scored one vote.
