Delta: Young Piero Dumps APC, Says “Party Favors Its Adversaries Than Its Loyalists”
By Daniel Dafe
Amb. Dr. Young Piero has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a letter addressed to the party Chairman in Ward 1, while stating that he is no longer a member of the party, he opined that “the party seems to encourage its enemies than its friends, favors its adversaries than its loyalists, hates the ideology of the new generation of leaders beyond just youth leadership seats, and has no credible, practicable plans for the future of Nigeria as we get into the heart of the turbulence of the 21st – 22nd century.”
He added: “I am determined to chart a new path for what I believe is best for my constituents and Nigeria at large,” just as he prayed “that APC will, over time recover its lost soul.”
