A young man in Sapele, Delta State, simply identified as Wisdom is on the run after allegedly withdrawing the sum of One Million, Thirty Five Thousand naira from his employer’s account.

A Facebook user, Sapele Oghenek, quoting the victim, said the suspect was sent to purchase fuel and was given his ATM card based on trust in order for him to withdraw and make payment, saying the employee has been a loyal staff.

He added: “On Friday’s errand became different as he never came back. Wisdom first transferred N510,000 and then withdrew another N510,000 and later withdrew another N15,000 to lodge in a hotel known as Jobenx Hotel along Yoruba Road.”

Continuing, he said they searched for him and could not find him.

“When we got to Jobenx Hotel this morning, he had checked out,” the shocked boss narrated.

He disclosed that they had to trace the POS from which he did the transfer and withdrawal and when found were told by the POS agent that he suspected that something was wrong when the young boy approached him for the transaction, saying he had to do a video of the boy in case any issues came up.
