VP Candidate: “Ibori Made Strong Input For Me To Emerge” — Okowa

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has said that former Governor of the state, Chief James Ibori, played a vital role that made him become the running mate to the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Governor Okowa said this on Thursday during a live programme on Channels TV, monitored by this medium.

In his words: “Ibori made a strong input for me that made me emerge.”
According to him, people are making it look like he has issues with Ibori.
“People are exaggerating my differences with him.
“He was one of the strong voices for me before my nomination. There are no issues really,” he added.
