HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso (JP ) OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union, UGIU, Chief Abovi Hope Erute, former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Delta State Chief Victor E Otomiewo, a highly esteemed Uvwie Palace Chief, Sunny Popo and others have eulogised Mrs Elizabeth Taro Joseph Erifevieme on her 80th birthday anniversary.

The celebration of the birthday anniversary of Mrs Erifevieme took place at the prestigious Wellington Hotel Effurun on Saturday, 2nd July, 2022.

The Uvwie monarch remarked that the celebrant was a pace setter, peace maker and dedicated mother.

In his contribution, High Chief Victor E Otomiewo noted that she was a pillar to her late husband, a renowned photo journalist and highly respected Chief, Taro Joseph Erifevieme of the Nigerian Observer fame.

Meanwhile, Chief Erute remarked that Ma Elizabeth Taro Joseph Erifevieme was hospitable and humble.

In his contribution, Chief Sunny Popo noted that the celebrant was not only a mother to her biological children but a mother to others.

Mrs Taro Joseph Erifevieme who spoke to our correspondent in a brief media chat during the event, expressed gratitude to God for the celebration of her 80th birthday.

She also expressed appreciation to her children for honouring her in such a wonderful way.

The celebrant was also full of appreciation to the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom and others for their kind remarks about her.

She prayed God to grant her more happy years in good health, peace and prosperity.

The Secretary of Traditional Council of Chiefs, Dr Chief Samuel Jimoh Eshenake JP, Comrade Abayomi Sideso, Ambrose Ologide Chief Ejiro Taro Joseph Erifevieme, Elder Peter Udi , Mrs Agnes Ologide, Ms Elohor Ologide, Tony Igheredje and Ms Florence Omaduvie were among the dignitaries that graced the epoch making event.
