Agege United Elders, Leaders Forum Inaugurates UDU LGA Chapter

In preparation for the 2023 general election in the state, a support group known as Agege Political Leaders, Elders Forum,(AGULEF) yesterday, Tuesday 26th July, 2022 inaugurated the Udu Local Government Chapter.

The ceremony which held at the resident of Hon Harvest Igben in Orhuwhorun town, in Udu local government area of Delta State, has the executive members drawn from all the political Ward in the local government area.

Some members of the Exco include Hon. Felix German, Chairman, Comrade Bakpa Paul, Vice Chairman, DCN Kadaji Fada, Secretary, Mrs Jagba Samuel, Treasurer, Mrs Agnes Egbi, Fin. Secretary and Mr Peterson Orugbo, Spokesman.

Others are Mr Obite Ogaga, Organizing Sec., Mr Jonathan Koyaya, Pub Sec, Mr Ishaq Abdulhamad Forth Leader and Mrs Dolly Oruku, Women Leader.

While inaugurating the group, the National chairman of AGULEF, Arch Bishop Philip Orovwodje tasked the Exco to be dedicated to the task ahead, which is winning the election for the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo Agege in the state.

Bishop Orovwodje said AGULEF was formed as a support group to senator Ovie Omo Agege after he became the first Urhobo son to have acceded to the office of the Deputy Senate President.

In his inaugural address, the chairman of AGULEF, Udu local government chapter, Hon. Felix German said he was overwhelmed with joy for the privilege offered him to serve as chairman of the body.

He appealed to leaders of AGULEF to carry other members of the body along, just as he promised to work assiduously in collaboration with his Exco to achieve the goal.

Hon German added that AGULEF would sooner or later become a force to be reckoned with in the political history of the state.
