Delta 2023: I Did Not Endorse Agege, Osanebi –Abaja

The Enyi Friday Abaja the Ukwata 1 of Umukwata Kingdom in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, has said that the publication written by one Mr. Idi Presley Ifeanyichukwu claiming that he endorsed Agege, Osanebi and all Ndokwa APC candidates is fake news, adding that he did not endorse any candidate but only gave them royal blessings and prayers.

In a statement by hos.media team, while calling on the general public and the reading populace to ignore the said publication, the monarch said that “it’s important and highly imperative that records should be set straight and not to pull out publications that are capable of misleading the mind of the reading populace, Deltans and that of Ndokwa People.”

The statement continued: “I have gathered from my Principal, the Ukwata 1 of Umukwata Enyi Friday Abaja, that the meeting with the candidates of APC today was held in his office in Lagos as a consultation visit and not purported to lolitical endorsement of any kind.”

“His Royal Majesty while addressing me in a phone call, stated that he got a call from His friend, High Chief Johnson Opone for a friendly visit in his Office In Lagos and as a king, his office is always open to receive all sons and daughters of Ndokwa Nation.

“While the courtesy call was for a friendly discussion, I wish to inform the people of Ndokwa that the meeting wasn’t for a political endorsement as been spread online by APC media team.

“If I am to endorse a candidate that’s to run for an election in Ndokwa nation and in Delta state, such a meeting is bound to hold in my palace in Umukwata with my palace cabinet well seated to receive the particular candidate and on this note, I wish to personally reiterate that I have not endorsed any candidate and as a king that I am, my door is always open to receive any candidate but not on endorsement basis,” he added.

“Conclusively, His Royal Majesty Enyi Friday Abaja has not endorsed any candidate from the APC party and has asked the people of Delta and Ndokwa nation to disregard the post been spread by APC media,” the monarch said.
