Gov. Wike Completes Road Built On Water

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has said that the Abonema Ring road in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area is one completed project that his administration is proud of.
Governor Wike said this in a statememt on Monday, adding that “it was built on water and required the creation of an island to hold the road.”

According to him, “its construction involved the building of bond walls, sand filling, foundation piling, stone pitching, an 8-span bridge, and culverts.”
