Sapele Residents Lament Hardship Over Gana-Ugberikoko Road

Residents of Gana in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State have lamented the hardship they go through everyday on account of the poor condition of the Gana/Ugberikoko road and are therefore calling on the Local Government Chairman, Chief Eugene Inoaghan to come to their rescue and immediately fix the road.
Some of the residents of Gana, Sapele, who spoke to newsmen said that, they have suffered untold hardship over the past five months on account of the deplorable state of the Gana/Ugberikoko road, which they said has become a nightmare for motorists and other road users plying the ever busy road.
They lamented that due to the deplorable state of the road, school children, government workers and others who live in that part of the town, often get to their respective destinations quite late everyday due to the traffic gridlock experienced on the road every morning.

A resident of the area who gave his name as Mr Benson Efetobor and resides at Javeh Junction told newsmen that “we are suffering, we want the road to be fixed.
Benson said “this road cannot be neglected like this because it is the only road that leads to Ugberikoko, Otonsayere and other communities in the area”.
A tricycle driver who does not want his name in print said that “most tricycle drivers are avoiding Gana road at the moment as a result of the bad condition of the road, which is destroying our tricycle”, he said that, as a matter of urgency the Local Government Chairman Chief Eugene Inoaghan should please come to their aid and fix the road, before it gets worse than its present deplorable state.
