Group Applauds Michael Olomu’s Developmental Strides In Bayelsa State
Hon. Michael Bless Olomu, an illustrious son from Ebedebiri Community in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has made laudable achievements over the years, mostly in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development through the Michael Olomu Foundation (MBO).
Hon. Olomu who is the immediate past Special Assistant on National Assembly/Eternal Relations to the Sole Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has attracted various socio-economic infrastructural projects and programs towards improving the welfare of well-meaning Bayelsans and Nigerians at large.
Niger Delta Advocates through their spokesperson described Hon. Olomu as an exceptional politician and philanthropic leader with a laudable track record of achievements in service to the nation with the little public office bestowed on him within the shortest period of time.

Hon. Olomu within the shortest period of his appointment in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), as Special Assistant constructed over three hundred (300) kilometers roads in various Communities across Sagbama Local Government Area and beyond.
He has facilitated and funded various socio-economic infrastructural projects such as: construction of internal roads, renovation of primary and secondary schools, installation of solar lights, construction of standard modern toilets, medical outreach, distribution of sensitive schooling materials (notebooks, sandals, shocks etc) to various schools etc.
Hon. Olomu as an educationist who knows and understands the importance of good accommodation for students in order to enhance conducive learning environment for students, has facilitated the construction of five hundred (500) bed hostel space in Niger Delta University (NDU), through the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Niger Delta University (NDU) was the higher institution the development oriented philanthropic youthful leader graduated from. As a graduate of the institution knowing the challenge of students hostel accommodation perceived it very necessary for the construction of the five hundred (500) bed hostel space in order to improve the accommodation system in the institution.
The group spokesperson, Mr Perekeme Oyinkuro applauded the visionary development oriented philanthropic young politician for his tremendous performance and landmark infrastructural projects and human capital development programs within the short period of time in office attracting life-changing projects through the commission.
Mr Perekeme stated that the young politician will do better in attracting developmental projects to the State, if more leadership opportunities are given to him considering the laudable achievements as special assistant in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), within the short period of time.
