PDP Chieftain, Cheko Inomiesa For Burial Friday
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Cheko Inomiesa, who died at the age of 68 will be buried this weekend at her home town, Abraka, Ethiope East LGA in Delta State.
Burial arrangements released by the family in conjunction with her esteemed political associate, Okakuro Barr Sunny Akpidiogaga Emeyese, said the Service of Songs will take place at her residence, Otorho Abraka on Thursday, 11th August at 4p.m.
The political Amazon shall be buried on Friday 12 August, 2022 while entertainment of guests will follow immediately at Otorho Primary School, Abraka, beginning from 1pm.
A Thanksgiving Service will hold on Sunday 14th August, at St Peters Catholic Church, Abraka, Delta State.

Until her exit, Late Chief Cheko Inomiesa, a famous politician and grassroots mobilizer, held the chieftaincy title of Oghor of Abraka Kingdom.
Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Chief Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, in a condolence message described Chief Inomiesa as a true democrat who over the years served PDP in various capacities and was a loyal and dedicated member of Ethiope East Political Forum, EEPF, and Solid Foundation Political Network, SFPN, affiliate pressure groups of PDP.
“Chief Inomiesa was both loyal and a dogged PDP loyalist who dedicated her life to serve her community and society in general.
“She was an astute politician, women mobilizer and a very close political associate of a prominent political leader and former member who represented Ethiope Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Rt Hon Akpodiogaga Sunny Emeyese.
“May God Almighty grant her internal rest, in Jesus Name,” Oghenesivbe prayed.
