PDP Ewu Axis Political Forum Passes Vote Of Confidence On Oguma

A  Political  pressure group named ‘ ‘ Ewu Axis Political Forum’ in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, has tasked her members on the need to  build peace among indigenes and residents in the kingdom.

The Ewu Axis Political Forum is a group given birth to by the serving Ughelli South Local Government Councillors and Exco from the Ewu Axis for the purpose of wooing votes from the area in favour of PDP.

The meeting was held at Olorogun J.U. Oguma’s Residence, Uduaghan Hall in  Ovwor Olomu town, Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking during the meeting, the Secretary of Ughelli South Local Government Council, Mr.Joseph Okeoghene Ubrurhe said that the forum was put in place to build on peace and unity among the people of the Ewu Kingdom as well rally round one of their leaders, Chief J. U Oguma.

Ubrurhe also disclosed that the group was  to mobilise all registered voters in Ewu axis to ensure victory come 2023 general elections for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He further commended Chief Oguma for his tremendous efforts so far over the years for the betterment of the AKOEFE people.

According to Ubrurhe, Chief J.U  Oguma is the Chairman of Akon-efe and also the leader of the Ewu Axis PDP Political Forum.

“Oguma has stood solidly by the Ewu people, we shall in return in our own part continue to show him respect in total honesty and loyalty.”

Also speaking, Hon. Alfred Waka charged the Ewu axis which has six  councillors and two EXCO  members to always see themselves as brothers and sisters at all times, adding that in the course of moving motions to better their lives and that of the people in general, with unity they could achieve the collective goals.

The group also condoled with one of their own, Hon. Afure Samson from Ewu Ward 5 who lost his father.

Highpoint of the meeting was  a vote of confidence which was  passed on Chief J.U Oguma ( JP).

Present during the meeting were Mr.Joseph Okeoghene Ubrurhe; Honourable Alfred Waka, Hon Mercy Alakis Awhana, Hon Akpos , Mrs Margaret Evurosa and Hon. Edafiamredje Emmanuel.
