Rex Anighoro: Meet The New Spokesperson Of Ejele-led Delta Political Vanguard

Activist Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Civic Engagement and Civil Society, and a member of the State Actors Steering Committee on Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Delta State.

Activist Rex Emojite Anighoro, an uncommon advocate for Citizen’s greater good, is also the Convener of the National Civil Society Coalition (NACISOC) for Atiku – Okowa, and Civil Society Network (CISONET) for Sheriff – Onyeme. Over the years, Anighoro has vehemently and consistently been a frontline global promoter of the uncommon strides of Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, showcasing the Governor Okowa’s achievements at several international events, including the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

As a Pan Africanist, and Niger Delta Self Determination, and Social Justice Activist, Rex Anighoro also currently serves as the Spokesperson of the Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari founded and led, Nigeria Delta People Salvation Front (NDPSF).

He is an Emory University Atlanta Georgia trained Nonviolence Educator / Facilitator, a member of the Barr. Allen Onyema Foundation for Ethnic Harmony in Nigeria (FEHN), and he served with FEHN as a Training Assistant in the year 2010 Presidential Amnesty Disarmament, Demobilization, Reorientation and Rehabilitation (DDRR) Programme for Ex-Agitators in Obubra, Cross Rivers State.

Activist Rex Anighoro who hails from Ekiugbo, Ughelli North Local Government Area was a one-time Secretary of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Worldwide Youth Wing, and he is the convener of the Coalition of Urhobo Nation Young Leaders and Stakeholders (CUNYLS).

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) trained life saver is a Year 2010 alumnus of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) an American Government Exchange Programme, and the founder of several Citizen’s advocacy organizations including the Advocates of the Global Goals and Citizens Greater Good Initiative (AG2CG2I) and the Delta State Civil Society Volunteers (DSCSV). He is a member of many pro-citizens’ rights organizations such as; Delta State Civil Society Community (DSCSC), Nigerian Network of NGOs (NNNGOs) and CIVICUS an International Human Rights Organization.

Activist Rex Anighoro is also AN ENDORSED GLOBAL SDGs ADVOCATE as a volunteer for the UN Sustainable Development Goals Awarded by the HETAVED SKILLS ACADEMY AND NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL with all full rights and Privileges in the 2030 Global Agenda.

The Government College Ughelli Old boy is a Law Graduate of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and a Arbitrator certified by the International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDRI) Abuja.

Activist Rex Anighoro who also served as the Ughelli North Chapter Scribe of the Performing Musicians Employee Association of Nigeria (PMEAN), is a gospel musical artiste with two albums who have shared platforms with top gospel music ministers such as Panam Percy Paul, Asu Ekiye, Sammie Okposo, Kingsley Ike, Buchi, Samsong, Freke Umoh, Samsoft amongst others.

As a Christian youth leader he was the President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Youth Wing Ughelli North Chapter, Founder of Niger Delta Christian Youth Movement of Nigeria (NDCYMN) and an appointee of Pastor Henry Sado, the National President Youth Wing Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

The Year 2011 survivor of election related gunshots and extra judicial murder by the Nigerian military is a public speaker, strategic political communicator, social media influencer, organizer and mass mobilizer.

He is married to Jemima Anighoro and they are blessed with three children; Jesus, Zellah and Jehu.
