A business mogul, Hon. Adeyeri Stephen has asked the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, to give reasons why it failed to conduct primary election for Akoko South West/South East Federal constituency.

Adeyeri who asked the question in a statement on Wednesday, was reacting to a media report credited to the APC Director of Media and Publicity, Steve Otaloro, on the resignation of the business mogul from the APC.

Adeyeri Kunle, a former House of Representatives Aspirant under the platform of APC, announced his exit from the party on Tuesday.

Reacting to the resignation, the Ondo APC Director of Media and Publicity had said Adeyeri failed to “explore all mechanisms of resolving issues”.

But the former APC member, in a statement this evening said: “If the party believes there are issues, they must have engendered the avoidable conundrum by disallowing an impeccable Electoral system”

“Is it democratic for a party preserving the facade of “Change“ not to hold a primary election?”

“Otaloro, who was reacting to Adeyeri’s resignation in a media report also said the former party Chieftain “is merely trying to cause unnecessary distraction by making his resignation public”. We strongly tag his comment to be a freudian slip and it is ostentatious that the media director is outrightly oblivious of the happenings in the party”

“Since Steve is also claiming that other aspirants are downrightly complacent with the unconstitutionality in the party, it is advisable for him to see beyond is nose because umpteenth of the aspirants are disgruntled with the manner at which the leaders of the party are running it like a lone ranger.

“It is imperative to let the public know that the leadership of the party never offered olive branch to me and other aspirants who were committed to the growth of APC. People should ask Barr. Adanike, The Bobagunwa of Oka and the Reps Member, Hon. Adeogun, if all is well with APC in Ondo State.
