Fake Alerts: Police Arrest Two For Defrauding POS Operators In Delta

Police In Delta State have arrested two suspects for defrauding POS operators using fake alerts.
This was disclosed in a statement on Saturday by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Edafe Bright
The police added that the two suspects, Ofemu Obus ‘m’ age 23yrs and Henry Ekpu ‘m’ age 28yrs were arrested on Thursday by operatives attached to the Command’s Raiders squad.

The suspects are alleged to specialize in defrauding unsuspecting POS operators by generating fake alerts which they use to deceive their victims and defraud them of their money.
The two are said to be in police custody and investigation is ongoing.
