Gen. Godwin Anuke Dumps PDP, Joins APC To Support Senator Ovie Omo-Agege



On Sunday 16th of Oct, Gen Anuke ditched his party, the PDP and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that his former party, the PDP does not have what it takes to win the 2023 Gubernatorial elections. Gen Anuke is an Ex-militant/agitator and a strong PDP mobilizer from Ewu kingdom in Ughelli South.

He stated that his decision to exit the PDP is as a result of poor reward system in the party and lack of even distribution of developmental projects across the state under the Okowa-led administration.

He revealed that PDP members in the state are tired and angry, and more are ready to abandon the party because of the nepotistic, vindictive and tribalistic nature of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who has left the PDP more divided and the State worse than he met it.

Gen. Godwin Anuke said he strongly believes in the EDGE to BAND agenda of Obarisi, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and he also convinced that with Obarisi, the future of a prosperous and united Delta is assured.

Gen. Godwin Anuke specially thanked Comr Gueke Ugbarugba of the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Higher Voltage Team for facilitating his movement to the APC, adding that the decision to join the party became easier as a result of the sterling qualities and breathtaking performance of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR. whose projects are spread across Delta Central.

The Ex-Militant assured that he and his numerous followers will in the coming days formally collapse his entire political structure into that of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege campaign team. He went further to say that him and his followers are more than ready and committed to deliver the APC in the upcoming 2023 general elections in Ughelli south.

Obarisi, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR commended Gen. Godwin Anuke, for taking a bold and decisive step to enhance his political stature, saying that APC is known for fair play and he will not regret joining.
