I wondered how they teach and learn. You have primary 1 and 2 in one classroom, primary 3 and 4 in one classroom, and primary 5 and 6 in one classroom. Three classrooms in a school that is supposed to have 6 classrooms? Ogbeije Primary School in Ward 1, Abraka is falling and that school was built recently by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.”

Adding: “Also, there is no light in Eku hospital. A baby recently given birth to there was rushed from maternity ward to emergency ward to receive oxygen. This is wrong. These are the things I intend to correct”.

Still on the current state of things in the local government and the tenure of the present lawmaker represent in the area, he stated that he has failed in carrying out all his duties as a mouthpiece of the people of Ethiope East in the State’s House of Assembly.

The NNPP House of Assembly candidate said that it is in his agenda to have a cordial relationship with the governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, when he is elected as member representing Ethiope East.

This, he said is to ensure that he brings the presence of the government down to the people in Ethiope East.

Expressing optimism to win his elections, he said: “I believe that I am fully on ground. In the 11 wards, I’m on ground.
This election is an election that is going to shock people. And I want to give you my word today that you will be shocked by the margin that NNPP is going to use to gap the other political parties. Yes, the victory is going to be a landslide, with a very wide margin. I want you to mark today’s date; you will say that Rex said it.
So I’m not disturbed by any of them.”

On his message to the people of Ethiope, he said: “They should keep calm. By the grace of God, a new Nigeria is on the way. There is hope and prosperity for all. By the grace of God when we take over government at the central and also at the local government, I believe we will all get the dividends of democracy. The government will be felt by the people.”
