Anti-Cult Inaugurates New Chapter In Sapele Division

The Anti-cult group im Delta State on Monday inaugurated a new chapter in Sapele division, to join forces with the police and other security agencies to tackle the menace of cultism.and other crime related activities.
Comr (Dr) Kelly Efemena Umukoro, a member, representing National Youth Council Of Nigeria, NYCN, state community policicing committee, SCPC, Delta State command, via a Facebook post, disclosed this.
Umukoro who heads the youth wing of the Urhobo Process Union, UPU, said this move was part of majors to ensure total security of the area and local government.
He posted: “I joined the dynamic anti-cult President Comr James Uche to officially inaugurate the Sapele Division of the anti-cult. It becomes imperative for the unit to be set up hence they can support the police and other sister security agents in the area to reduce cult clashes and crime in totality.

“In my capacity as the U.P.U youth president and also Mem Rep NYCN State Community Policing Committee ( SCPC ) Delta state command, I admonished the new commandant to be proactive, dedicated, and selfless in his duties in Sapele and for him to make sure he doesn’t bring down the reputable name of the Anti-cult to the mud.
“May I use this medium to congratulate him on this great feat Nd I hope he brings his wealth of experience to bear in ensuring that Sapele remains peaceful and crime-free.”
Furthermore, he thanked the Local government chairman, Hon Eugene Inoaghan for his understanding and support to the group .
“We look forward to a better working relationship with both the Chairman and other security outfit in the area,” he added.
