The Delta State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olorogun Kingsley Esiso has stated that he has tremendous respect for elders and leaders of the party and will never make disparaging comments against anyone in the party, including members whom the party holds dearly for the contributions they make in ensuring that the party wins all her elections.

Esiso in a statement released on Saturday in Asaba by his Special Assistant on Media, Comrade Edwin Afejuku said the general public should be aware of the antics of the APC, because they are very unpopular in Delta, so all they do is to peddle falsehood and tell lies in a bid to cause disaffection amongst party faithfuls.

The state chairman said at no time did he make mention of retiring any leader of the party, because doing so will amount to taking the place of God.

“We want all our active leaders to be involved in the process that will make us reclaim Aso rock and retain our seat in government house Asaba and I spoke in plain English during the inauguration of the campaign council.
“I cannot take the place of God in the life of anyone, and will never make statements like ‘retiring any leader’, when I know it is God that gives power.

“Omo-Agege and his co-travellers need to come to terms with reality that they failed our people in Delta and the Niger Delta, because they were unable to attract meaningful development to the state and region.

“The fact that Agbor-Abraka-Eku road as well as Sapele-Warri road is in a sorry state is enough reason for Omo-Agege to apologize to our people, look back and reflect on how he has failed the people of Delta State”.

Esiso further stated that, Senator Omo-Agege and his team have been dragging the name of our respected leader, Chief James Ibori in the mud by sponsoring campaign of calumny and twisting statements made against him to include Ibori’s name in order to cause disaffection.

“Let me make it very clear that I will never talk down on Chief James Ibori, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and any other leader of our party, the statement they have credited to my name was never made because all what I said was in public and the programme was covered live on various social media platforms.

“Omo-Agege should focus on telling Deltans his plans and policies for them, rather than investing heavily on propaganda and fake news, because our people are very wise and intelligent.” Esiso added.
