Mercy Chinwo Performs At PDP Rally In Akwa Ibom

Gospel artiste, Mercy Chinwo, on Tuesday, performed at the flag-off of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP campaigns in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Cladded in a purple print blouse, with her signature beret on her head, the talented singer sang her usual gospel songs to the political gathering.

The recently married singer had the governor of the state, Governor Udom Emmanuel and his wife, Martha, and everyone else present in the gathering, dazzled

Her performance at the PDP’s gathering has since attracted different reactions from Nigerians on different social media platforms.

While some have opinionated that she has derailed from the gospel way by performing at a political gathering, others insist that she only got paid for doing “her job”.
