Isoko Federal Constituency: PRP HoRs Candidate, Okakor, Meets Church Leaders, Outlines Agenda

Candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, for the House of Representatives race, Isoko Federal Constituency, Delta State, Hon Okakor Oghogho Austine, and candidates of other parties, on Wednesday, 14th September, 2022, honoured the invitation of church leaders in the area ahead of the 2023 polls.

The said candidates were invited to outline their programmes for Isoko people.

While addressing the church leaders, Okakor said that the move was a step in the right direction, adding that it is the duty of the church to help restore lost grounds in Isoko land and move Isoko nation to its rightful place.

The PRP candidate outlined what he will do with the necessary legislative tools when elected.

He promised to influence a second House of Assembly seat in Isoko North, saying that he will also influence the use of Engineering principles to prevent further flooding in Isoko nation by constructing Dykes/Leeves and dredging rivers/water bodies in Isoko land, just as he promised to construct dams.

Stating convincingly that Amsterdam that is 2m below sea level never gets flooded because they use the right principle, while noting that Isoko that is 10m above sea level experiences massive flood.

Furthermore, he vowed to influence constant light and also pushing for other gas turbines to make use of the constant gas been flared that causes environmental hazards.

1. Influencing at least one federal Government agency/institution to Isoko Nation that will employ our people boost the economy.
2. Influencing for a start in the first year Ozoro and Oleh to become enviable Cities, by encouraging estate developers to move into Isoko in their numbers to acquire lands and transform Isoko land, this will create employment, foster peace , our people will not be idle again…
3. Influence many successful Isoko businessmen who owns various production industries/companies to quickly Situate a branch of their businesses in Isoko land, that will in turn provide employment for many Isoko people.
4. Take great Suggestions/ideas from Isoko Sons/daughters that will further move Isoko forward and give Isoko people a liberated voice.

The PRP Candidate ended by reminding church leaders and Isoko people that the greatness of Isoko nation is more supreme than any party narrative that undermines Isoko greatness, stressing that Isoko Reps seat is not for sale to highest bidder
