By Daniel Dafe
The Social Democratic Party has debunked reports that Pst. Jonathan Ajiroghene Ukhodiko of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged the Isoko Federal Constituency House Representatives member-elect, saying it is fake news.
The PDP had taken to the social media announcing his victory and congratulating him.
But in a swift reaction, Chairman of the party I’m the state, Amb Oke Idawene State, said the collation was still ongoing.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine via a telephone conversation on Monday, he said: “I am calling from Oleh the Collation Center for Isoko Federal Constituency.

“As we speak, there are 2 strong contenders- the SDP and the PDP. No winner has been feclared. Any publication about a winner is false and its not true and we are yet to be done with the collation.”
He continued: “There are still some reruns to run in some units and wards.”
He urged Deltans and the constituents in particular to disregard any information about PDP candidates winning the election.
“Until INEC says so, nobody has won. We are still in the race and by the grace of God, SDP’s candidate, Honorable Fineboy Dickson Ebegbare, will win,” he said.
