Retired Justice’s Wives, Children Found Dead
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the decomposed bodies of two wives and five children of retired Justice Sani Muhammed, Chief of Mutumbiyu Justices Chiefdom in Taraba State, have been found.
The news was confirmed by the justice himself, who stated that the bodies will be buried at Mutumbiyu.
This tragedy follows the abduction of eight members of the justice’s family, including the two wives and five children, two weeks prior.

The justice reported the kidnapping to authorities, who launched an investigation.
Unfortunately, the outcome was not what the family had hoped for, as the bodies of the loved ones were found decomposed.
However, there is some solace to be found in the fact that one of the abductees, a 14-year-old boy, was able to escape from the kidnappers and was taken to the palace.
This young survivor may hold valuable information that could assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice and bringing closure to the grieving family.
This incident serves as a grim reminder of the ongoing security threats facing communities in Taraba State and beyond.
Many hope that the authorities will take swift and decisive action to ensure the safety of citizens and bring those responsible for this tragedy to justice.
