Open Letter To Delta PDP Chairman, Esiso
March 26, 2023
By Comr Lucky Futughe – Warri
Warm greetings from the pen of truth and the voice of Delta State youths.
The just concluded elections in the state especially the gubernatorial one was indeed a botched civilian coup due to the high levels of conspiracy geared towards frustrating the efforts of genuine party faithfuls. The depths of planning and execution were from another planet. It could be likened to aliens versus man battle. They were strategic in their onslaughts, unleashing unprecedented barrages of attacks on the party structures across the state. They maintained these callous disposition continuously until the youths of the state intervened to prevent the old brigades from overrunning the party. These interventions were like the angels God sent to salvage the PDP from eminent collapse. The battle was fierce, lives lost but the resistance of the youths were unparallel.
Sir, the untimely sanctions of the G5 governors caused the party alot during the just concluded presidential elections. This unfortunate scenario would have been prevented if the disciplinary organs of the party were deployed on time. The open display of anti-party and delayed punishment of erring members gave birth to same attitude in the party across the country. Anti-party was almost a norm because nobody was punished heavily for covertly or openly working against the interest of the party. This foundation has to be laid for leadership to comprehend tje effects of delayed sanctions. In any case, sanctions are corrective measures in sociology.

The gubernatorial elections are over and the anti-party roles of prominent PDP stalwarts were in the open glares of staunch party supporters. Their names and that of their lieutenants are known because it was open display of crass wickedness to destroy the party that has given them feathers to fly. Sir, the youths expects that, every bad behavior MUST be punished and without delay. The party as a matter of urgency needs to sanction those erring members according to their levels of involvement in the botched civilian coup. There should be no delay in punishing these recalcitrant members because of the G5 experience. While the party is compiling lengthy lists of who to punish, the prominent ones should be serve cold breakfast as soon as possible. Such reaction from the party will send a very strong signals to their lieutenants that they are the next casualty in the firing lines.
Finally sir, the intention of these fifth colony was to disgrace you and your executives out of office, which would have gone down in history as the State party Chairman that led the People’s Democratic Party out of Osadebe House. Fortunately, their evil intentions were truncated with the support of the gallant, vibrant, dogged and rugged Delta State youths coordinated by God. Therefore sir, as we enter this new week, the youths want to see punishment for unpatriotic party men/women as a deterrent to forestall future reoccurrence of these bad behaviors. The youths strongly appeal to you that the exercise should be executed to precision devoid of sentiments because their plans for genuine party faithfuls were evil.
Consequently sir, we look forward to seeing sanctions of erring members of the party circulating on the internet effective Monday March 27,2023.
Thank you.
