Kaduna State University Lecturer Wins Prestigious World Academy Of Science Scholarship
Dr. Suzie Kuyet Zaky from the Department of Biology at Kaduna State University, working on water quality, has won an international award for a Post-Doctoral scholarship.
The scholarship is offered by the World Academy of Science (TWAS) and will enable Dr. Zaky to conduct a study on water quality monitoring using algae.
The focus of the research will be on Plankton Morpho Physiological responses to stress factors in determining water quality.

TWAS, based in Trieste, Italy, is dedicated to promoting scientific and engineering research for sustainable development in developing countries.
The scholarship will be carried out at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET), under the guidance of Prof. Maria Florencia Gutierrez at the National Institute of Limnology (INALI), CONICET-UNL, Paraje EI POZO, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina.
