Police Arrest Five Cable Vandals

Operatives of Alausa Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested five suspects for vandalizing Lagos State Electricity Board cables mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company, Alausa area of Lagos State.
This was disclosed in a statement on Thursday by SP BENJAMIN HUNDEYIN, anipr, mipra
POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER, LAGOS STATE COMMAND, IKEJA.

“Ukah Gabriel ‘m’ aged 29, Emmanuel Ajikula ‘m’ aged 29, Athanisus Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 28, Titus Akuha ‘m’ aged 18 and Felix Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 27 were arrested in the act on Monday, April 24, 2023 following receipt of credible intelligence on the suspicious movement of some hoodlums in the area,” the statement added.
Tools and vandalized cables were recovered from the suspects.
According to the statement, the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
