DELSU Wins National Innovation And Big Ideas Competition

Delta State University, Abraka has emerged the best at the Festival of Big Ideas and Innovation, FOBIIN, organised by the National Orientation Agency, NOA in collaboration with the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC and the Nigerian Army Resource Centre for Students of tertiary institutions.
The competition took place in Abuja on the 8th and 9th of May, 2023.
Five students of the University, led by Aniebonam Faith, of Department of Fine and Applied Arts made up the DELSU team.

Others are, Ugemuge Oritsetimeyin Blessing – Biochemistry; Afolabi Olayinka Mercy, Agricultural Economics; Akpan Bright Uwana, Electrical Engineering and Omoniyi Precious Oghenekevwe, Marketing & Entrepreneurship.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Vice Chancellor, Professor Andy Egwunyenga, said: “I received the victorious students in my office yesterday. Presenting the trophy and the commemorative plaque to the Vice Chancellor, Aniebonam Faith affirmed that they were inspired by God and driven by the pursuit of excellence for which DELSU is renowned. I commended the students for distinguishing themselves and being great ambassadors of the University.”
